TICA Annual Board Meeting ルール改正案ポイント解説①Joint Shows

8月31日～9月2日に開催されるTICA Annual Board Meetingでのルール改正案についてポイント解説します。

◆Amend Show Rule 22.1.1 (Joint Shows)  ：共同開催ショーの再定義

Show Rule 22.1において、TICA公認クラブはTICAのショーを開催できるとなっているわけですが、他団体との「Joint Show」についての定義を見直す提案が出されています。

まずは提案理由を確認すると、

As TICA has evolved over the past several decades, becoming a well-respected member of the World Cat Congress, it is time to work only with groups that are equally respected. This proposed rule change would solidify TICA’s reputation on the world stage. The current rule also requires re-drafting since, as currently written, it can be interpreted as only permitting shows in conjunction with the American Kennel Club.
TICAは過去数十年の間に発展し、World Cat Congressの尊敬に値するメンバーになったので、同様にWorld Cat Congressにおいて尊敬に値するグループとだけ協力する時が来たといえます。この改正案は、世界の舞台でTICAの評判を確固たるものに変えるでしょう。また、現在のルールでは、American Kennel Clubと連携したショーしか認められないと解釈されるおそれがあるため、再定義が必要です。

この改正案の念頭というか背景に、TICAと分かれた新たに発足した新団体「LCWW（Loving Cats World Wide）」があることも留意しておいた方がいいかもしれません。

具体的には22.1.1とを改正するとともに、22.1.2と22.1.2.1、22.1.3を新設し、従来の22.1.1.1はナンバリングを22.1.4と変更して中身も若干改正するというものになっています。

（改正）22.1.1 A show shall be limited to the exhibition and/or judging of felines. A TICA show may be held in conjunction with a sanctioned licensed show, governed by an established, nationally known species or breed organization (i.e., for example The American Kennel Club). The sanctioning organization must cooperate by licensing the prospective show, approving of the format in conjunction with TICA and providing licensed judges.
22.1.1 ショーは、ネコの展示及び／又は審査に限定されなければならない。TICAのショーは、確立された全国的に知られた猫種または猫の組織（例えばThe American Kennel Club）が管理するライセンスショーと共同開催できる。（改正後の和訳）

（新設）22.1.2 A TICA show may be held in conjunction with one or more shows for the exhibition and/or judging of felines that are licensed by feline registries that are full members of the World Cat Congress (WCC) or by an organization with which TICA has a formal agreement for mutual acceptance of pedigrees.
22.1.2 TICAのショーは、World Cat Congress (WCC) の正会員である猫の登録機関、またはTICAが血統書の相互受入れについて正式合意をしている機関が認めた猫の展示及び／又は審査のための1つまたは複数のショーと共同開催できる。

（新設）22.1.2.1 A TICA club wishing to hold a show in conjunction with organizations that do not meet the criteria of 22.1.2 must apply for (and be granted) permission from the TICA Board of Directors prior to the publication of any information regarding the show.
22.1.2.1 22.1.2 の基準を満たさない組織とショーを共同開催しようとするTICA公認クラブはショーに関する情報を公表する前に、TICA Boardの許可を申請し（許可を与えられ）なければならない。

（新設）22.1.3 TICA shows may be held in conjunction with larger events that are not organized by the TICA club itself (for example, pet expos or similar type events) where the TICA club does not have control over the other organizations that are invited to participate.
22.1.3 TICAのショーは、TICA公認クラブが主催しない大規模なイベント（例えば、「ペット博」または似たようなタイプのイベント）と連動して開催できる。

（改正）22.1.1.1 4 A TICA club may elect to hold a TICA cat show in conjunction with another such organization (or organizations) under the above conditions, provided this information is included in all publicity and flyers pertaining to the show.
22.1. 4 TICA公認クラブは他の団体との共同開催か、ショーに関する全ての配布物やフライヤーにこの情報が含まれることを条件として上記の条件の下での団体のショーをするかを選択できる。

この改正案が通れば、新団体「LCWW（Loving Cats World Wide）」がWorld Cat Congress (WCC)に加盟しない限り、TICAとのいわゆる〝Joint Show〟の開催はできなくなるということになります。
