【TICA】Winter Meeting 議事録から④BG／SV／CUにおけるTICA登録のルール変更について

【決議20】BG／SV／CUにおけるTICA登録のルール変更に関するものであり、このブログでも1月17日にお知らせした内容です。

Standing Rules 307.6.3を新たに設けるもので、その規定内容は以下のとおりです。

307.6.3 After the transfer of breeds out of Category V to another Category it is no longer possible to register any additional non-domestic source species in the Foundation Registry. The only possible registration is offspring of TICA registered cats with a non-domestic feline in the three-generation pedigree which are only registered with the aim to breed out the non-domestic source species.

これだけでは「何を言ってるのかさっぱり分からない！」となるかと思いますが、要はBGもSVもCUも、今や「Category Ⅰ」の猫種なわけで、早い話が、もう「Category Ⅴ」ではないのだから「non-domestic source species」を登録することはできないということです。

具体的な実施日については、議事録の決議を辿っていくと今年の9月15日からとなっています。

このルール変更に関しては、それぞれのBreed Committeeに於いても異論や疑義が出ているようです。

ちなみに議事録を確認すると、複雑な経緯を辿ったことが分かります。

with Faccioli, Meserve, Mullem, and Stadter opposed.

【決議60】 Motion by Brooks/Brown to amend prior motion to modify the effective date to September 15, 2020. Motion
carried with Antenucci, Mullem, and Stadter opposed. Russo: By moving the deadline from May 1st to September 15th, I feel this will give the membership and specific breed groups ample time to comprehend the addition to Standing Rules as well as establish and formulate an approach moving forward.

限られた猫種の話題かもしれませんが、BGブリーダーの中には「それならもうTICAをやめる」という人も出てきているだけに、新ディレクターに於いては、特にBG／SVブリーダーやメンバーに対し、Board内でどのような議論の末にこのようになったのか、補足説明する必要があるように思います。
