【TICAスタンダード】BGシルバーのカラー定義について

今日の内容は主にBGブリーダーとJudgeさん向けのテーマになるかと思います。

TICAの主だったBGコミッティー（Committee）メンバーにおいて、BGシルバー（Silver）のカラー定義（Color Description)が議論され、今後の方向性としてBGの「Standard」において以下の追加説明をすることで意見の一致（85％）を見たとのことです。

”Ground color ranges from clear silvery white to light pewter gray. Markings are medium grey to jet black with good contrast. Minimal to no warm tones present on face, back and legs. Underside and chest will be a lighter color in comparison to rest of body. Pigment around eyes, temple and muzzle are lighter than ground color"

議論の中では、上記に対して「remain the same with no specific description of the silver color in Bengal Cats, referring the UCD description - Black Silver Tabby: Dense black pattern markings on a clear silver white ground. Skin pigment around eyes, lips and nose is black」との意見もあったようですが、少数派でした。

若干の解説を加えると、追加説明の中では「tarnish」というwordingは使われていません。「tarnish」については「warm tones」と言い換えられ、「Minimal to no」と限定するwordingとなっています。 

なお、「Standard」の変更は、BGメンバーによる投票を経なければなりませんが、投票時期がいつになるかは現時点では明らかにはなっていません。
