【TICA海外動向】TICAが抱える根本問題

先日、Yahoo Groupsの中に新しいページが作られたことを紹介しましたが、必ずしも賛成だけではないようです。

この新しいページについて投稿したメンバーに対し、別のメンバーが次のようなメッセージを投稿していました。

日本語に訳すと、露骨で生々しくなるので控えますが、TICAアジアのメンバーであれば、字面を追っただけでなんとなく、このメンバーの言いたいことは理解できるのではないかと思います。

要は、TICAアジアが抱える根本問題はTICAアジアだけが抱えているわけではないということです。

様々なリジョンで、深刻さの程度の度合いや問題の現れ方は違うにせよ、似たような状況であると言えるのではないでしょうか。

以下が、ある海外リジョンのメンバーがSNSに投稿したメッセージです。

「I am not on that page and probably won't be on your new page, but I will tell you what the problem is. There is a lot of anger in the "rank and file"（※rank and fileは比喩的表現で、一般人や庶民。この場合、一般のTICAメンバーを意味します）

There is a perception that the rules don't apply to the "in club" and the EO and various judges.

There is a growing conviction that the whole booming organization is corrupt and that judging is biased.

And until that is addressed, you are going to have a lot of disgruntled people and a lot of people who no longer support the shows. I hear we have 20 entries for our regional.....I've heard a lot about how TICA needs to attract young exhibitors.

Well I guess so! Young means they haven't been around long enough to see what is going on. Let me give you a heads up: the older exhibitors are the ones with the money and the time and they are leaving TICA.

They don't even care enough to try to change things. They just want to attack someone, anyone. People are angry. The yahoo message board last week was a fine example of that spirit.

TICA is in the process of imploding.（※ implodingはimplodeの現在分詞。「内側に破裂する、 内破する」の意味）
